Collection: CLOS DES VIGNES DU MAYNES

Clos des Vignes du Maynes is part of Burgundy's tradition of land registration by monks. Its origins date back to 910, when the Duke of Aquitaine founded Cluny Abbey. Owned by the Lords of Cruzille Castle, the estate then belonged to five generations of farmers before being bought in 1952 by Pierre and Jeanne Guillot.

From the outset, Pierre and, after him, his son Alain decided to produce wines using organic farming methods, without chemicals, weedkillers, insecticides or sulphur. Julien joined the estate in 1998 and converted it to biodynamic farming. The Clos has never used chemicals and has always been cultivated with the utmost respect for the land since its origins.
