DOMAINE CATHERINE RISS

After a graduation in viticulture and oenology, a diploma in oenology, and some professional experience, Catherine Riss was hired by Michel Chapoutier to manage an estate acquired in Alsace in Reichsfeld. Her adventure quickly began in 2012 on 1.3 hectares thanks to the invaluable help of Antoine Kreydenweiss and Lucas Rieffel (for whom she worked until 2014). In 2015, she moved into her own premises. She works her vines organically. The vinification is natural. The wines vibrate with prices that are still very reasonable for the region. Catherine Riss is a talented winemaker who has not finished making a name for herself. Long live Queen Catherine!
