THE WHITE MARNES DOMAIN

We often talk about the great Ganevat , Overnoy and other Bornard but what about the Marnes Blanches, also a legendary Jura estate! Since 2006, Pauline and Géraud Fromont have been cultivating and vinifying in their fabulous estate located in the South of Revermont.
Like many Jura estates, the vines are cultivated organically. The fifteen hectares cultivated by the winemaking couple are divided into three distinct islands, one of which is called Cesancey, where the vines lie on white marl soil, which subsequently gave the estate its name!
Like their famous neighbors, the winemaking process is very low-intervention. "Native yeasts" are required, and the long aging in barrels, sometimes topped up (or not), often involves no added sulfites. At Domaine des Marnes Blanches, all the wines are fresh, lively, and sparkling.
